Transgender Awareness Week starts November 13 and ends November 19, with Trans Day of Remembrance falling on November 20. Below you will find ways to get involved, remember those we’ve lost, and organize for the future.

What is Trans Day of Remembrance?
Trans Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on Nov. 20 honoring the memories of victims of anti-transgender violence.
What is Trans Awareness Week?
Trans Awareness Week is a week (November 13-19) dedicated to raising awareness of trans people and the issues they face in our society.
How can I get involved?
There are lots of ways to get involved. Here are just a few ideas:
- Attend a vigil on Trans Day of Remembrance or another event during Trans Awareness Week
- Tell your friends and family about TDOR or Trans Awareness Week
- Create artwork in remembrance of victims of transphobic violence or highlighting an issue uniquely facing trans folks
- Spread awareness in your own unique way
- Fight for rights and safety for trans people
