Gender Affirming Care
Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center is pleased to be offering Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT) in partnership with Kelley-Ross Pharmacy Capitol Hill! Kelley-Ross Pharmacy is offering a number of services to assist transgender, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming individuals in aligning their body’s features with their gender.
This program is available for clients who are at least 18 years old and live in Washington State.
What services are available?
- Hormone Therapy:
- Estrogen (oral, patch, or injectable)
- Testosterone (cream/gel or injectable)
- Other medications (Spironolactone, Finasteride or Dutasteride, etc.)
Additional Services:
- Consultations and visits with their pharmacist providers
- Letters of support for gender-affirming surgery
- Resources for social and mental health support
- STI testing/treatment, PrEP, vaccines, and more
What do visits look like?
After submitting a new patient form, Kelley-Ross Pharmacy staff will call you to schedule two initial visits.
- The first appointment is approximately 60 minutes, during which the provider discusses treatment plan options, medication impacts, and potential side effects, and draws labs.
- In the second appointment (approximately 30 minutes), the provider will answer additional questions, ask you to sign an informed consent and provide you with a prescription if you decide to start or continue hormone therapy.

I Don’t Have Insurance, Can I Still Utilize This Program?
While insurance is required for this program, the good news is that the staff at Seattle’s LGBTQ+ Center can help you enroll in a plan that meets your budget and needs.
