Join us and our co-hosts Charlie’s Queer Books in honoring the godmother of gender-bending, mind-blowing sci-fi and fantasy, Octavia Butler, on the 19th anniversary of her death.
Authors Nikkita Oliver and Jen Soriano will be discussing the legacy of care work that inspired Butler’s stories, and how we can use her understanding of community care to survive, resist, and celebrate the non-normative today.
